Patrick Mattisson is a DJ and producer originally from Trollhättan, Sweden. His journey into electronic music began in the late ’90s, first diving into goa trance and psytrance before gradually gravitating toward techno in 2012, which became an increasingly compelling genre. He bought his first DJ deck in 2004 and has since performed at clubs and forest gatherings across Sweden, as well as internationally in Norway and Australia. From 2005 to 2011, he also co-founded the dark psytrance label Cannibal Syndrome Records.

After years of inspiration behind the decks, Patrick’s desire to create his own music took shape in 2021 with the launch of his peak-time techno project, Magnetic Sleep. His ambition is to craft driving, powerful, and technologically infused tracks with touches of nostalgic, reflective and vibrant melody. Patrick draws inspiration from artists such as Pleasurekraft, Teenage Mutants, YellowHeads, Christian Cambas, and Dusty Kid.
